‘Panpan’s mission’ purpose
“Panpan’s Mission Fundraising Event aims to raise vital funds for Cure Kids New Zealand – the largest non-government funded child health research charity in New Zealand focusing on finding treatments and cures for our kids. Panpan is a toy bear that has a love heart mark on his face. Panpan stands for ‘Hope’ in Chinese. By naming the bear Panpan, we wish to deliver the message of hope to inspire the children who suffer and the public who could really make the difference.
