No. 1 Popular NZ Bank on Chinese social media

ASB was the first bank in New Zealand to set up an  overseas official WeChat account. We were appointed as it’s Chinese Creative agency to develop and manage the account. 

From the Lantern Festival Wishing Tree campaign to the Mid-Autumn Festival Long Image Storytelling, we craft the experience design both online and offline to achieve the maximum engagement goals. We have Managed the Lantern Festival creative for four consecutive years and contributed to the overall  campaign design and creative development, including the popular Zodiac cards. 

 

OUTCOMES

Campaign: As a result, following the 2017 ASB CNY campaign, The NZ Events Association (NZEA)  awarded ASB for Best Sponsorship of a Cultural/Arts Event, and ASB’s “brand love ranking” also raised from 3rd place to 1st place.

Social: Started the brand WeChat account in 2017, accumulated more than 8,000+ followers. It is one of the most popular WeChat official accounts among all NZ corporations.
